Bernie del Rosario, MD, is a vice president of home dialysis at DaVita, where she is responsible for leading the home hemodialysis strategy, including physician and patient education. She also serves as an assistant professor of medicine at UMass Memorial Health where she served as director of home dialysis therapies overseeing all inpatient and outpatient services for home patients.
Dr. del Rosario graduated from the Milton S. Hershey Medical School at Penn State. She completed her internal medicine residency at Wake Forest Baptist Hospital in Winston Salem, North Carolina and her nephrology fellowship at Tufts New England Medical Center in Boston, Massachusetts. Her interests include patient education, patient engagement and home hemodialysis.
