Ingredients

  • 1 small onion
  • 1/2 medium tomato
  • 1/2 medium green bell pepper
  • 8 ounces lean stewing beef
  • 2 tablespoons canola oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper

Preparation

  1. Thinly slice onion. Chop tomato and bell pepper. Cut beef into small cubes.
  2. Sauté onion and oil in a skillet until the onion is slightly brown. Add beef and tomatoes.
  3. When partially cooked, add bell pepper, salt and pepper.
  4. Continue cooking until meat is tender.
