Slow Cooker Honey Baked Apples

Ingredients

  • 3 medium apples
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter

Preparation

  1. Core and cut each apple into 8 pieces and place in a slow cooker.
  2. Sprinkle cinnamon over apple pieces and toss to coat.
  3. Drizzle with honey, add butter and stir.
  4. Set slow cooker to low temperature, cover with a lid  and cook for 2 hours.

Helpful hints

  • This recipe can also be prepared in the oven. Cook at 325° F for 45 to 60 minutes.
