- 1/4 cup low-sodium tomato sauce
- 3 cups water
- 1/4 teaspoon salt (optional)

Helpful hints
- Omit salt if regular tomato sauce is used instead of low sodium. The sodium content is about the same.
- For best results, resist lifting lid from skillet when cooking rice.
