Low-Sodium Albacore Tuna Salad

Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon onion
  • 1 teaspoon celery
  • 2-2/3 ounces albacore white tuna, low-sodium, water packed
  • 1 tablespoon Thousand Island dressing
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1/2 teaspoon yellow mustard

Preparation

  1. Finely chop the celery and onion.
  2. In a small bowl mix all ingredients together.
  3. Weigh the finished salad and divide by 2 to determine weight of serving size.

Helpful hints

  • Virgil prefers StarKist® Low Sodium Albacore White Tuna because the sodium content is low. Check at Target if you are unable to find it at your local grocery store.
