Honey Butter Air Fried Salmon Filet

Ingredients

  • 2 green onions
  • 3/4 cup cherry tomatoes
  • 2-1/2 cups fresh green beans
  • Two (4 ounce) salmon filets
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper
  • 2 tablespoons softened unsalted butter
  • 1 tablespoon honey

Preparation

  1. Slice green onions, keeping white and green parts separate.
  2. Cut cherry tomatoes in half, cut green beans in half if desired.
  3. Pat salmon filets dry with a paper towel and season all over with 1 teaspoon black pepper.
  4. Heat air fryer at 390 degrees F for 3 minutes.
  5. Brush salmon with 1/2 tablespoon of olive oil. Air fry the filets for 11-13 minutes at 390 degrees F.
  6. Mix butter, honey, and crushed red pepper in a bowl.
  7. Remove salmon from air fryer to a plate and cover.
  8. Mix green beans with 1/2 tablespoon olive oil. Air fry green beans 8-10 minutes at 390 degrees F.
  9. Sauté cherry tomatoes and white portions of green onion in small pan over medium heat for 3-4 minutes.
  10. Place each salmon on a plate and spread honey butter over the top. Evenly distribute green beans, tomatoes and white green onion on the plates.
  11. Sprinkle green tops of onion evenly on each plate.

Helpful hints

  • If you have diabetes, you may eliminate the honey butter and use only butter. Or you may eliminate the butter all together.
